ANNOUNCEMENTS

*****IMPORTANT NOTICE*****
*****APRIL 2, 2026*****

Bob Redman has informed the board of his decision to step down from his role as President, effective today, April 2, 2026.

Bob Temple and Bob Mullins are coordinating with the rest of the board to identify next steps and options to pursue. There have been suggestions from some HOA members that we dissolve the board entirely, or outsource the Board and HOA management responsibilities to a third party. Or we can nominate, vote, and properly staff the board with members who are willing to take on the board responsibilities.

AT THIS POINT IN TIME THE BOARD AND HOA NEEDS ALL MEMBERS TO CONTRIBUTE AND PARTICIPATE AND VOTE AT THE UPCOMING BOARD MEETING.

HISTORICALLY , WE HAVE HAD LOW MEMBERSHIP ATTENDANCE AT THE ANNUAL MEETINGS. FOLKS WHO LIVE HERE FULL TIME MAY HAVE DIFFERERENT PERSPECTIVES AND EXPERIENCES THAN SESASONAL OWNERS. NOW IS THE TIME TO COME TOGETHER AND DECIDE THE FUTURE OF THE TCRHOA.

ANY CHANGE OR ACTION OF THIS MAGNITUDE REQUIRES THE BOARD TO PROPOSE THE CHANGES/OPTIONS TO THE MEMBERSHIP AND FOR THE HOA MEMBERS TO VOTE TO APPROVE OR REJECT THE PROPOSED ACTIONS.

These type of changes to the bylaws and covenants, requires HOA MAJORITY approval with 85% of HOA members being required to vote and a majority approval.

The current proposed options include:

  1. NOMINATE AND APPROVE NEW BOARD MEMBERS.  PROPERLY STAFF THE BOARD and ensure it has the resources and time commitments from members to properly function as an elected board. HISTORICALLY THERE HAS BEEN VERY LOW TURNOUT AND LITTLE DESIRE FROM MEMBERSHIP TO STEP UP AND RUN FOR A BOARD POSITION.

  2. DISOLVE THE BOARD ENTIRELY AND GET RID OF HOA FEES. All road maintenance, plowing, and HOA roads would become each homeowners responsibility to maintain their own "access".

  3. OUTSOURCE THE HOA BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES TO A THIRD PARTY COMPANY. We could pursue hiring an outside company to perform the Board and HOA management functions. In this eventuality, the annual HOA dues would likely go up A LOT, potentially from $600-1000 per lot.

Anyone who wants to be nominated to the Board ahead of the meeting in May should reach out directly to Bob Temple to get on the ballot. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Annual Meeting Date Change

Hello fellow TCRHOA members,

Here we are at the end of January and the voting period for moving the annual meeting is coming to a close.

I want to thank all those that took the time to return your ballots in what ever manner worked for you. You took an interest in what's going on and it paid off. We needed 80 YES votes of 159 available, and as of the 30th we had 85 YES and 1 NO vote. This is enough to move the meeting from June to May moving forward.

This move allows the Board to generate a budget and, along with other volunteers, to assess and plan for earlier road maintenance/repairs, and tree trimmings for snow plowing.

The Board will be assessing what Saturday in May to hold the meeting. Hopefully the location will be available.

Again, thank you to those that responded in this matter.
